EVP is Easy to Install
EVP can be installed above, on or below grade, or over wood, concrete or existing flooring. An easy-to-install glueless click system means there’s no mess to clean up after installation. Another big advantage of EVP/WPC flooring is that, thanks to thicker and more rigid construction, it will hide imperfections in your subfloor. You can select from wider and longer planks that require no jobsite acclimation, so you can install same-day!
Waterproof, Rigid Construction
Unlike laminates or real wood, EVP is a completely waterproof flooring. This makes it a natural choice for bathrooms, kitchens, basements, or anywhere in a house or office space that may be near water. The product will never swell or delaminate from water exposure.
Enhanced vinyl plank’s construction is built to absorb sound and provide comfort and cushion when standing. Most products in the category come with an attached cork or rubber underlayment for a quieter, warmer floor that is naturally resistant to mold and mildew. Some installations will require an added moisture barrier to minimize the risk of mold growth. Rigid Core flooring is another form of EVP/WPC, offering a durable, rigid composite with less cushion that is impervious to cupping and warping.
